The Family Conversation Planner
The conversations to have before you arrive
Way Back Home
If you have taken the Readiness Compass, it showed you where you stand right now. This is the next piece of that work. Most returnees prepare everything about the move except the conversations with family, and those are often the ones that decide how the first year actually feels.
This planner walks you through eight of them, in three short parts: the ones to have with yourself, the one closest to you, and the family you will be living alongside. You can type your answers in as you go, or leave them blank and print the planner to fill in by hand. There are no right answers here. The point is to think these through before you land, while there is still room to think calmly.
Your answers are yours. Nothing here is stored or shared without your asking.
