Your work, your money, where the children go to school. Those parts of a move can be researched and budgeted for. There is another part that cannot, and it tends to surface late in the evening, some months after you land. It asks who you are now that the job title and the years of shared context are no longer doing the introductions for you. Some people call this reverse culture shock, which is accurate enough, though it rarely arrives looking like shock.
This worksheet is for that second return. Seven prompts, in four short parts. Nothing is scored, because nothing here can be. The prompts do one job. They pull your sense of yourself, and of your own value, away from the external markers that changed the moment you got on the plane.
Type as you go, or leave it blank, print it, and write by hand. None of it takes long. Some of it will want a second sitting.
